
Hubbard Inn, 110 W. Hubbard, kicks of Labor day with a weekend of fun beginning with a special happy hour 4-7 p.m. August 31. Specials include $1 oysters and clams, $2 shrimp and scallop crude, $3 crab legs and lobster cups, $4 rotating draft, $5 martinis and a $20 build-your-own sangria pitcher.
The Labor Day weekend "Bottomless Brunch," available 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. September 1-2 , features $20 bottomless mimosas and bloody Marys with the purchase of a brunch plate.
Brunch highlights include a Breakfast Flatbread (soubise, bacon, soft scrambled egg, cheddar, chive; $14), Southern Fried Chicken and Malted Waffles (seasoned and confit chicken, vanilla malted waffle, bacon maple jus; $16), Peppercorn Pastrami Hash (smoked peppercorn pastrami, fingerling potatoes, calabran vinaigrette, fine herbs, pickled fresno, poached hen egg; $18).
