Vaca’s Vegan Creamery, small business plant-based creamery that got started with funding through Kickstarter is headed to Wicker Park in May.

In December Mariana Marino and Dylan Sutcliff took a leap of faith and signed a lease at 1436 W. Blackhawk St. East Wicker Park. A charming neighborhood shop across from Pulaski Park, Vaca’s Creamery will serve through a COVID-friendly walk-up window scratch-made vegan cones, shakes and sundaes, many gluten-free options and more, starting in May.

In order to focus on their ice cream business, Mariana and Dylan are publishing a cookbook with their much-lauded cake and dessert recipes through Kickstarter.com. The store also features limited-time offers like an exclusive ticket for Vaca’s Creamery’s opening weekend.
