Wake 'n Bacon, 420 W. Belmont Ave., hosts a Fourth of July brunch 8 a.m July 4. Menu highlights include: Wake 'n Bacon burger (all beef patty, pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions and bacon chili jam on a brioche bun); $17 and LaVida Dulce Brioche French Toast (stuffed with house-made Dulce de Leche and topped with a Dulce whipped cream, shortbread crumble, and a spread of blackberry ginger compote ($14)
Weather permitting guests can bring dogs to the outdoor area. Hours are: 8 a.m to 4 p.m.
