Omakase Shoji launches new a la carte menu items

Omakase Shoji, 1641 W. Chicago Ave., launched new a la carte menu and Izakaya-style items that include: Gyoza, Shrimp Shumai, Kushi Katsu (pork), Unagi Kabayaki (barbeque eel), and Miso Soup. Traditional roll offerings include Salmon Avocado, Spicy Tuna, and Negi Hamachi. Specialty rolls include the Dragon Roll, made with avocado, cucumber, shrimp tempura, mayo, topped with avocado, grilled eel, and unagi sauce, and the Orange Sunshine Roll, made with shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber, chopped salmon, smelt roe, mayo, chili oil, sliced orange, and orange tobiko.

Sushi sets are also available.

In addition the new bespoke cocktail menu offers traditional cocktails mad with premium brands that include fresh ingredients with a Japanese twist. Featured items include: Shoji Old Fashioned, Natsu Sour, Noki Highball, Akuma No Kemuri, Shoji Saketini, and Crimson Sky Negroni. More details here.
