Area chefs partner to raise funds for Hawai'i Community Foundation Chef Hui Fund, August 27, Prairie Grass Cafe, 601 Skokie Blvd. Northbrook.
Participating chefs: host chef Sarah Stegner co-chef/co-owner, Prairie Grass Cafe, Ricky Sakoda former chef at Merriman's (Kapalua, Maui); Randall Sabado Sr. Executive & Chef Cooper's Hawk; Arshiya Farheen, chef/co-owner Verzênay and Sebastian White, chef/founder The Evolved lNetwork.
There are two means of participation: Happy Hour, that includes tasting stations; passed canapes and wine; $50. A cash bar for cocktails and beer will be open as well. Hours are 3-5 p.m. August 27.
A family-style dinner will be held beginning at 5 p.m. August 27; $100. Guest are welcome to attend both events; $150.
