Prairie Grass Cafe's Mother Day dinner, order by May 7


Prairie Grass Cafe601 Skokie Blvd., Northbrook, has the solution to Mother’s Day during this social distancing lockdown due to  COVID-19 lockdown. 

“We have so much for which to be thankful,” Prairie Grass Cafe chef/co-owner Sarah Stegner said. 

“This is a perfect time to reflect, spend an evening with your immediate loved ones and enjoy the company of your family and significant others.”  

The Prairie Grass Cafe menu has several options including choice of 4 entrées: Beef Tenderloin, Grilled Canadian Salmon, Maple Creek Farm Ham and Cauliflower Quinoa Cakes (vegetarian), all accompanied by a Mighty Vine salad, grilled vegetables, and strawberry cream pie. Dinner prices range from $46-$79. You can order Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for an additional $4.25 per shrimp and a quart of Asparagus Soup for $15. 

The rosé and pinot noir wines to pair with the Mother’s Day dinner package include: Chateau Minuty M, Rosé, Cotes de Provence, France 2019, $20 and Deloach OFS, Pinot Noir, Russian River 2014, $40. Price reflects our 50% wine discount.


If your mother isn’t local or if you have friends who are isolated, Zoom or Skype dinner and deliver the Prairie Grass Cafe dinner to them to enjoy together over the internet.  All orders must be placed by May 7.
