The event is in honor of what would have been Nelson Mandela's 100th birthday. The number stems from the years Mandela gave in his fight for social justice.
Chicago's support effort will benefit Inspiration Corporation, which helps people who are affected by homelessness and poverty improve their lives and increase self-sufficiency.
