Commonwealth Tavern, 2000 W. Roscoe, kicks off a month-long deal for National Burger Month. The specialty burger, available May 1-31, is a ground in-house patty (70-percent brisket and 30-percent bacon), American cheese, tavern sauce, bread and butter pickles and fried onions, on a brioche bun served with choice of fries or side salad; $15.
