Vermilion, 10 W. Hubbard, hosts the May edition of "Let's Talk Womxn Supper Club & Conversation monthly dinner and conversation on women's issues, is June 25; $100. 

The event, which is an in person or takeout dinner, will feature five members from Let's Talk Womxn Chicago: Julia Shell (The Dandy Crown); Maya Camille Broussard (Justice of Pies); Geraldine Hernandez (Savory Crust) Mary Aregoni (Saigon Sisters) and Rohini Dey (Vermilion).  The event is in support of HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH TO #ENDCHILDMARIAGE.

Cooper's Hawk Executive Chef Matt McMillin and team have put together a special Father's Day grill kit for four.

The kit includes: pretzel bread and butter; classic tomato brushetta (); four 8-oz filets with the chefs special seasoning pack; four baked potatoes with toppings (whipped butter; sour cream; aged cheddar; applewood smoked bacon; scallion); asparagus and a dessert of lemon pound cake with crème Lègère and summer berries; $199.99.

Chiya Chai set for Riverwalk opening June 7

Chiya Chai, kicks off its third season as a vendor at the Chicago Riverwalk's Michigan Avenue Marketplace June 7. 

Returning to the Riverwalk menu is chaat (a category of Indian street food that combines a range of tastes, flavors and textures to form a unique taste that is sweet, sour, salty, tangy, hot, spicy, soft, crispy and crunchy all in one bite. 

Other food items include: bhel puri ($7), aloo chaat ($7), sev puri ($8) and samosa chaat ($8); samosa & chutney ($6); masala chicken pie ($9.50); creamy masala curry bowl ($12.50) and a cauliflower peas and potatoes curry bowl ($10.50). View complete menu. 

The summer spin-off will also offer five chai options including its staple masala/spicy;  masala and ginger cardamom along with specialty seasonal options such as Chai coconut crème and salted caramel chai (12 oz., $4.50 or 16 oz., $4.75). 

Other beverage options include include select coffee, tea and lemonade as well as the popular Indian favorite mango lassi (12 oz., $4.50 or 16 oz., $4.95). 

In addition the eatery plans to open a second location in the Loop at 79 E. Madison in late June. Riverwalk hours are: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday-Thursday;   11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Call: 773-360-7541.

Green City Market's West Loop site returns 8 a.m. June 5 in Mary Bartelme Park, 115 S. Sangamon, St.  #2615. 

New vendors include: Star Farm Chicago (located in the back of the Yards neighborhood offering fresh seasonal vegetables); Prairie Wolf (hand processed locally sourced raw dog for treats) and Kikwetu Keny Coffee (south side operation that sells locally brewed coffee and beans).
