Cody's Public House, 1658 W. Barry Ave., hosts a Beer Garden Infield Derby Day Party, 11 a.m. May 6. The dog-friendly event includes a Doggy Derby Day Best-Dressed contest (hat or outfit).
Special food items includes: Cody's Der-B-Que B.Y.O.M with Cody's providing the sides and guests bringing their own meat for grilling.
In addition guests will be feted to a Woodford Reserve sampling. Special drinks for the occasion include: Woodford Reserve Mint Juleps ($7) and a Triple Crown cocktail menu. Other specials include select $5 drinks.
