El Solazo, 5600 Pulaski After closing two years ago due to a fire, reopens today as the re-envisioned Solazo.
Owner Pepe Barajas' new concept has a more upscale-casual feel similar to its sister restaurant La Josie. A former BYOB eatery upgrades include a agave bar program focusing on from agaves from all regions of Mexico including rare selections from Jalisco
New food items include: puestos de tacos (taco stands); ceviche, Aguachile Rojo ($12), with choice of Baja California striped bass or tiger shrimp, chile piquin, onion, tomato, cucumber, avocado and cilantro and tacos (with housemade tortillas). Online orders available here.
