The Northman, 4337 N. Lincoln, hosts its first cider-making class, Cider 101, July 18. Guests will learn the origins of cider, how it is made, different varieties and about the huge cider trend in the culinary world. During this introductory class visitors will learn the historic value of cider in the global food culture. Tickets ($25), include a 4-flight tasting and light snacks.
