Cantina Laredo's color-changing cocktails


Cantina Laredo's, 508 N. State, color-changing cocktails, "magic margaritas,"  contains butterfly pea flower tea, which creates an eye-popping live visual as the tea  is a vivid blue when brews but goes through alter states when mixed with acidic lemon juice, transforming the beverage to  a bright magenta hue.

Cabo Color Flip:
Cabo Wabo Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier, fresh lime juice, butterfly pea flower tea $13

Casa Magic:

The Dandy Crown, 694 North Milwaukee, is now opened for business. Sarah Syman's cocktail program, includes “Old Friends” (classics) and “New Friends” (seasonally evolving craft cocktails) menu items.
