National Food Day

National Food Day is October 24 and the city salutes the day with a celebration at Two North Riverside Plaza that includes cooking demos by chefs Paul Kahan and Jason Hammel, lunch offerings from Big Star and a poetry slam by Chicago Public School students. All proceeds from the day-long event benefits Pilot Light, a chef-driven movement promoting healthy eating and sustainable food. pilotlightchefs
