Marvin's Food and Fuel, 954 W. Fulton Ave., hosts an Irish Whiskey Dinner 7 p.m. May 12. 

Limavady Irish Whiskey Master Distiller Darryl McNally will be on board to interact with and educate guests on the nuances of Irish Whiskey during the elevated coursed menu with pairings showcasing selections and unique pairing with Chef Mitch's dinner courses.

Matcha Cita, 1017 W. Lake, a matcha-driven cafe after that had a successful trial run as a pop-up in Lincoln Park in 2021, is open for business as a brick and mortar establishment.

Highlights include: Matcha Horchata with cinnamon and vanilla almond milk; Purple Haze (matcha, lavender, CBD, and oat milk); Pineapple Mango Matcha (lemonade, and a Pink n’ Pitaya Smoothie with pitaya, strawberry, banana, peanut butter, and vanilla almond milk)

Guests can also customize drinks with added ingredients that includes: Make Me Pretty (collagen), Make It Luck (Lucky Charms), Make Me Mellow (CBD), Make Me Strong (protein) and Make It Matcha (matcha). Added items range from $1.95 to $3.95.
