Canary Street Eatery and Market's, 314 S. Canal St., Pizza Month special, dubbed "Italiano Fridays," featuring selection of wood-fire pizzas to select from (menu available) continues through the end of the year; $15.
Selections include: Linguini Carbonara with black pepper, lardons, parmesan, and egg; Casarecce Bolognese with parmesan and basil; truffle pizza with wild mushrooms, onion jam, and Bianca; and Bismark pizza with prosciutto.

Four Entertainment Group Chicago locations join forces to host a Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton Relief Fundraiser, October 22.

A $1 from every drink sold at all locations will benefit The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina
and the Community Foundation Tampa Bay.
Four Entertainment Group (4EG) has a long history of hosting fundraisers for organizations in need throughout the year from
local to international. In 2022 the Chicago locations were able to raise over $4,500 for United Help Ukraine, and most recently
they raised $6,722 from a Maui Relief Fundraiser to support the Maui Strong Fund.

Easy Bar's, 1944 W. Division St., Halloween New Belgian pumpkin carving event, gets underway 7 p.m. October, 30.
Pumpkins, scooped out, will be provided and ready for carving. The event is first come-first served until supplies run out. Swag bags will be given to the best carved, most creative and ugliest pumpkins.
A New Belgium beer sampling will take place. The bar's Wednesday specials, that include Malort shots ($4) and hard seltzers ($6) will be available.
Seasonal selections include: Pumpkin Spice Margarita (Espolon Blanco Tequila, pumpkin syrup, and lime; $12), Purple Drank (Empress Indigo Gin, Veev Acai, lemon, simple syrup and soda ;$12), and the Pain Ke'iller (Plantation Pineapple Rum, Keke Key Lime Liqueur, Orange juice, nutmeg and a gummy worm ;$11).

Dog-Friendly Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest Benefitting ALIVE Rescue
Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest for dogs and their owners. The contest kicks off 3 p.m. October 27. Cash prizes will be awarded for Best Doggy Costume ($100) and Best Dog + Human Combo Costume ($200). There will be raffles benefiting ALIVE Rescue, free pup cups and free dog swag. Drink specials will include $5 Lagunitas Pints, $7 Tito's Cocktails, and Cody’s Pup-Tail Menu in which 50-percent of the proceeds will benefit ALIVE Rescue.
