Smoque Steak Restaurant, 3310 N. Elston Ave., closes it doors to open new concept Brickton Hall, a boutique venue for weddings, social and corporate events, in its spot.
The organization will be launching Smoque Steak Events and Catering (more details to come) at a later date.
Smoque Steak Restaurant's final of regular service will be August 25.

Black Lagoon, a nationwide Halloween pop-up first launched in 2022, returns October 1, The Parlour at The Albion Manor.
The immersive, and yes creepy, experience pays homage to the macabre madness of Halloween with a decked out creepy venue for patrons who are into the spirit of the holiday and list of specialty drinks for the occasion.
Drinks selections will include: Sirens Song (Aged Rum, Rye, Pineapple, Orgeat, Sherry, and Lime); Nightmare Fuel (Tequila, Mango, Matcha, Lime, and Absinthe); Frank’s Fix (Vodka, Carrot, Miso Falernum, Coconut, and Lime) and Momento Mori (Mezcal, Blackstrap Rum, Coffee, Banana, Chinese Five Spice).
